ABOUT ME

Hey there! Kylie, here. I’m the (rarely seen) face behind GoodnightFox. I’m originally from Sacramento California, currently residing down here in the Bay Area with my husband, labradoodle Milo, and daughter Sofia.

I started GoodnightFox when I finally got up the courage to pursue my creative passion! In 2015, two weeks before my wedding, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. At 28, I definitely wasn't expecting to hear the C word. Fortunately, I had a very treatable form of thyroid cancer and one surgery and some treatments later, and I was back in ship shape. But it really pushed me to evaluate my life and I felt life was too short not to pursue my passion.

I had always dreamed of running my own business. And I had been sketching a series of animals in my spare time. It took me about 2 years to complete the first collection of animals and in 2017, I got the courage to take the plunge and open up my Etsy shop with the Alphabet Animal Flash Cards as my first and flagship product.

Fast forward two years and we welcomed our daughter Sofia into the family in 2019 and my assign for helping develop children grew as I watched Sofie learn and explore the world around her. Becoming a mom to Sofie opened my eyes to a whole new world of parenting challenges and joys and I’m excited that through my shop I can help other parents improve their toddler’s vocabulary.
