ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kylie — the mom and designer behind GoodnightFox.

Like many moms, I found the toddler years both magical and exhausting. My daughter, our “little fox,” was endlessly curious, always on the move, and not exactly easy to tire out. I loved watching her learn — but long days without structure left me overwhelmed, drained, and searching for ways to make learning feel joyful instead of stressful.

I didn’t want more screen time.
I didn’t want noisy, overstimulating toys.
And I didn’t want learning to feel like another thing on my to-do list.

What I did want was simple structure, beautiful activities, and play that actually held her attention — the kind of play that feels calm, meaningful, and developmentally supportive without requiring hours of prep.

So I started creating it.

GoodnightFox began as a creative outlet, but it quickly grew into a play-based learning brand for busy moms and caregivers who want learning to happen naturally through play. I use my background as a designer to create thoughtfully illustrated, screen-free resources that are easy to use, gentle on little nervous systems, and rooted in the belief that young children learn best when play leads the way.

You won’t find loud ads or overwhelming content here. Instead, GoodnightFox is a curated, ad-free space filled with:

  • play-based learning ideas for preschoolers

  • simple activities that add structure to long toddler days

  • beautiful printables and tools designed for real life — not perfection

While I’m not an educator by trade, I deeply believe in play-based learning and create everything with intention, practicality, and real families in mind. My resources are designed to support parents, caregivers, homeschoolers, and early childhood educators alike — especially those navigating busy days with little ones at home.

Why “GoodnightFox”?

We call my daughter our little fox — clever, curious, and full of energy. When she was younger, bedtime didn’t always come easily, and “Goodnight, Fox” became our gentle way of signaling calm, connection, and rest. The name is a reminder of what I hope this space brings to families too: a sense of ease, reassurance, and quiet confidence as the day winds down.

If you’re here because you’re tired, juggling a million things, or simply looking for ways to make learning feel lighter — you’re in the right place.

I’m so glad you’re here.
Take a look around, explore the blog, or start with one small activity — play doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

xoxo,
Kylie
