6 Clever Ideas for a Giraffe Nursery

Giraffes are one of the most adorable animals to decorate a nursery with because they're friendly and cute but also gender neutral. And yellow just adds such a nice splash of color to a baby's room. So when I stumbled across some of these nursery finds, I just couldn't help but share them. Check them out:

1. Customizable Baby Blanket

If you're looking for a great, meaningful gift full of personality, check out these adorable baby blankets by LovableGiftCo. They're super cute, super soft, and they make for a great gift with that little extra something. And if mom hasn't decided on baby's name just yet, you can always personalize with his/her last name or the month and year. Check out the shop on Etsy for more great designs and patterns.

2. Giraffe Bookshelf

I LOVE playful, yet subtle nursery decor. And this giraffe bookshelf is just perfect. It has nice angled lines so it's not over-the-top and painted grey it makes for the perfect accent piece. It sits back in the room without drawing too much attention to itself and it really lets the colorful bring texture and life to it. You can find this cool piece at PBKids.

3. Be Brave, Stand Tall, Be Strong

Motivational posters are very trendy right now, but I still love the subtlety of these modern, clean prints. Plus, I love doing custom orders so that you can get personalized or crafty with your baby's nursery. Giraffe is one of my all time favorites of the safari animals -- he's shy and unassuming, but still very courageous. Check out my shop for more great print designs!

4. Giraffe Plushy

This child-life-size giraffe plushy makes an awesome accent piece for a monochrome nursery set. It adds a bright and playful pop of color and brings height to the room. I especially love when decor doubles as a toy or gift and this is one that is sure to surprise and delight your baby or toddler. For some great styling tips, check out Kyle & Jack's nursery on Style Me Pretty.

5. Giraffe Rattle

And if you're really looking for something out of the box, check out this crochet rattle and toy set by Crochet Feelings Toys. Now normally, I'm not into crochet because it's a bit too classic for my taste, but with this set I couldn't help it! It also comes in a very nice gift wrapped box making it the perfect set for a care package for a distant friend or relative.

6. Giraffe Animal Puzzle

I'm obsessed with wooden children's toys right now. It's so nice to see so many adorable toys and gifts that aren't made of plastic but are still just as much fun. This little giraffe puzzle made by Camille Lundy Designs is the perfect example. It's super cute, fits in with the monochrome trend and would surely entertain the little one's brain.
